lovely girl through the sixties

Penny Slinger is interesting talking about her photographs, her surrealism, her collage and even her own muse and the people she had met. She had certainly been a lovely girl through the sixties and seventies and through that time I had known of the people she met but for some reason I didn't know of her. I know of Peter Whitehead and his films like Wholly Communion (1966) and Tonite Let's All Make Love in London (1967). I certainly knew of Roland Penrose and his love of Max Ernst and apparently introduced Slinger to him. I also knew of Jane Alden and her famous film, The Other Side of the Underneath (1972) but I didn't realise that Slinger had a part in it. So this film is very interesting and at least now I know of the splendid Penny Slinger.
