    Important and excellent documentary.

Everyone should find time to watch this documentary. It has essential information about the mental health crisis currently occupying countless homes and ending too many lives. Everyone is touched by mental illness in one way or another, it is worth becoming educated about. This film explores why the most effective treatments known as evidence based treatments aren't being used the vast majority of the time, rather therapists still use far less effective, old fashioned treatments, which amplify stigma and slow down, stop or even reverse progress from life threatening disorders.

Going Sane is a strong persuasive case for parental courage in aiding a child with mental-emotional difficulties

Going Sane contains a courageous theme: don't turn your child's problems over to a "professional" when your own compassion and wisdom guide you otherwise. Parents are primarily responsible for bringing up their children in light and truth; it is not society's assigned role. Society shifts its values whereas parental love with prayer can be constant.

thought provoking critique of our mental health care system

Excellent critique of the mental health care system in the USA. The authors of the movie were well-informed about the various cracks in our current system. A strength of the movie was that it included interviews with experts in the field as well as parents who had or were experiencing mental health challenges with their children.

Mental Health Treatment Really Needs a Makeover

This documentary dishes out a lot of food for thought. Why have the numbers of affected individuals increased so drastically, yet successful treatment and rates of cure have decreased.

Really, medical professionals should all be kept to the same standards of treatment with the same measure of success.
