    Half a story

Very poor and one sided . If you watch this you would think that there was no violence from the IRA . Omagh , Enniskillen , La Mon , Bloody Friday , Kingsmill and the countless murders of Protestants didn't happen. There can not be reconciliation while we produce one sided documentaries that virtually ignore the mass slaughter that was carried out by violent national republicanism by an organisation who had no political mandate. It also ignores the majority of nationalists who chose peaceful politics as the way forward and delivered peace. Let's get real here. Not one interview with democratically elected parties such as SDLP, Alliance , UUP or DUP who have c.80% of the democratic vote. Yet SinnFein dominate the show . Shocking and sad.

Was weary after reading the other 2 reviews here

But I found it pretty good, I've studied this conflict myself for 25 years, I guess the problem with the other reviewers is they refuse to accept it as terrorism from Britain, not just in northern ireland, but throughout the world. The killing of hundreds of thousands of Irish people have lead to this and some, I guess, like to ignore this fact for whatever reason. Imagine getting killed or beaten for speaking your own language, truly shocking and sad history.

    Unbalanced

I'm not promoting any side here but this has to be the most biased and unbalanced documentary I have ever seen. If you wonder why conflict still exists in this world, this documentary is a perfect example of why. Hate breeding at it's finest. I have been studying this conflict for a very long time. Some of the cases presented in this lack explanation or miss out vital information purposesly to gain support for one side. That's far from peace making.

Biased lies and one sided propaganda

Completely and blatantly biased toward the nationalist, republican Irish side of the Northern ireland conflict. Glorifying terrorism and the atrocities committed by the Irish terrorist in a completly sympathy seeking documentary. One sided to the extreme. Shockingly bad documentary which of course I suspect one side of the Community will completely disagree with, unsurprisingly. Never will there be true peace with history reporting of this description. Shame.!

Fully fleshed history of the conflict

This documentary does what most others do not - properly looks into the context of the conflict in the north. Most of the people who dislike this documentary, do so because it bursts their little bubble regarding Irish history. They like to think that everything started in the 1970s when those pesky Irish demanded civil rights and met violence with violence. Anyone who truly cares about history and wants to fully understand Irish history, cannot ignore this context. The fact that you did not hear about or learn this context yourself, is not an excuse to ignore it and dismiss it as bias. Also, this documentary includes views and opinions from those on the British side, which is much more than many other biased documentaries in favour of that side - who offer zero views from the Irish side of the conflict.
