    Independent horror at its best

Wow is all I can say. I watched it cause it had the most balls-to-the-wall goofiest synopsis I have ever heard. And it did not dissapoint in that field. However, it's so much more than that. The movie is both a brilliant absurdist comedy film, a gruesome and at times disturbing horror flick, and a surrealist, artful dare I say masterpiece of independent film. The last twenty or so minutes really rocked my whole existence. There is so much subtext and so much to ponder long after the 80 minute runtime ends. I cannot recommend this flick enough. Viewed on Amazon.

For those who can appreciate a good low-budget horror subgenre film

I had no expectations going into this movie and I was NOT disappointed because of it. You have to appreciate the creativity and humor in this film. It requires a certain type of humor to be enjoyed. It's meant to be cheesy and completely absurd. The acting isn't to die for but it's definitely not unbearable either. The film was unpredictable (in a good way) and captured my entire attention from beginning to end.

Final point: The film isn't pretending to be something it's not, which is why it's fabulous!

Scary and funny in the best of ways

Very clever, sort of funny and scary at the same time. It's weird that a movie can mix chill with laughs but it works! This is a very respectable yet irreverent film that is really unlike ANYTHING I have seen before. The characters are beautifully crafted. The story...I don't know what to say here. It's wicked and lovely at the same time. The duality is something that is handled so well, I can't imagine everyone is going to get it. But for those who do, The Dark Side of the Womb is a very rewarding cinematic experience.

    Great indie film

I'm a sucker for weird, bizarre, underground films and this one hit the spot. Well directed original story with solid performances even by indie/underground standards. Definitely recommend purchasing/renting this darkly humorous title.

    Thumbs up.

Creativity reigns in this indie film!

This was one of the most unique horror films I have ever seen, and I have seen a ton! Quite bizarre in the best way possible! It is blood, gory and oh so different, plus it has heart! Well done production wise and just a ton of fun to watch. You won't forget this one!
