I've seen all 4 seasons of this series. The first few episodes were well filmed in Cumbria and Scotland, and dealt with relevant topics. Some were very sad. But as the series progressed, the filmmakers seemed to run out of cases to cover. By season 3 and especially season 4 the whole thing descended into farce. It was really annoying, but I kept watching to see how much worse it could get. It seems like the whole of the police force in Yorkshire and Sheffield have nothing better to do than run around after a couple of attention seeking losers who keep " going missing" again and again. These are adults who are perfectly able to look after themselves and can find their way home, but for the sake of creating a "story" for the programme, they class them as vulnerable and go chasing after them. When they are found, you can see the "missing" person look knowingly at the camera, declaring with a smirk, "they care about me, so they will always find me". Ugh. Good illustration of how the billions of pounds of taxpayers' money wasted on the police force is being spent.
