A chilling masterpiece!

Actors: 10/10 Storyline: 10/10 Chills & Goosebumps: 11/10 A perfect horror series with suspense that lingers until the very last episode. "The Haunting of Hill House" delivers a deeply emotional and terrifying experience, blending fear with powerful storytelling. It's rare for a show to keep viewers gripped until the final minute, but this one absolutely succeeds. Did not actually mind missing some important tasks. This became a priority because curiosity had the best of me! The character development, atmosphere, and plot twists are top-notch. An unforgettable journey that masterfully combines horror with heart. Highly recommended!!!

Don't care who you are this will freak you out!!!

I've only started on episode 2, although I'm hooked and freaked right out! The performances from the adults and the younger versions of the adults are very convincing and ropes you into a family that has been screwed over by terror and your along for the ride with them! Enjoy I am

A series of a family that got f'd up in a haunted house, and you just want to find out why and what really went wrong. Each episode is captivating and you cant help but keep watching. horror/thriller/drama, good job netflix its always a 50/50 but this series is good

The Haunting of Hill House is HANDS DOWN the best horror series I've ever seen. It's a meditation on death, grief and trauma. It is equal parts scary and engaging. The best character development I've seen in a long time and a huge leap forward for horror. We need more horror like this. It has disturbed me and moved me. It's portrayal of the supernatural as more of a human experience and less of a "poltergeist" type is revolutionary. It, to me, makes more sense to believe in ghosts than I ever thought was possible

Robert Kurtzman reveals that up to 30 "Easter egg" ghosts are planted throughout the series. "It was [creator/director Mike Flanagan's] plan from the beginning to set up these kinds of little Easter eggs and see if people could spot them." While working on the primary prosthetic makeup for the show each day, the makeup team would also produce up to four of the "hidden ghosts" as well for Flanagan to pepper in the shadows.
