Ryan is in week six of his spiritual journey. An interruption by flatmate Max, who bumped into Ryan's old flame Sharon Pepowitz at Wholefoods, sends him down a rabbit hole. Ryan calls his mediation instructor Sonja, although it becomes unclear whether he's requesting advice or her company.

Ryan calls Sonja a morning spiritual check in, phoning from twenty year old Autumn's bedroom closet, a "cheat meal" in his pledge. Autumn and Ryan address the elephant in the room, her age. Before Ryan can get away, Autumn flatmate introduces himself, turns out to be her Father, and dispenses some sage advice.

Post-date Ryan and Olivia are back at her house, she shuts down Ryan's request for a second date, this might is more of a short tern type of deal. Olivia confesses she's pregnant, throwing Ryan game off completely.

A tender moment with Zoe id interrupted by Max, desperate to talk to Ryan after being dumped by his girlfriend who called from hospital, after a sexual mishap. Chaos ensures as Ryan comes clean he too slept with Max's girlfriend.

Back in the bedroom with Olivia, who is further into pregnancy. Ryan comes clean about falling off the wagon and they discuss how he can become a better person. Agreed on keeping their relationship as friends, Olivia becomes aroused by Ryan's 'baby talk.' .

Ryan sticks out like a sore thumb in Sharon Pepowitz's luxurious living room. Her husband Darryl makes it clear Ryan is unwelcome. As Sharon walks in, they both need explanations over their former relationship and as sparks fly they fall back into their past habits, yet not in the way Ryan imagined.
