Gabe Fazio's performance is highly praised, along with the film's eerie, suspenseful tone. However, criticisms point to slow pacing, unclear plot, and inconsistent execution. The ending is divisive, with some finding it unsatisfying or confusing, while others appreciate its ambiguity. Technical aspects like cinematography and sound are noted for needing improvement. Despite mixed opinions, the film is acknowledged for its potential and unique approach to horror and thriller genres.

The basic plot of this film is solid. It feels almost like a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode. Unfortunately, the decent plot is foiled by amateur cinematography, poor sound, uncomfortably awkward dialog, and weak editing. 1. Cinematography looks like it was shot on a camcorder. Color grading is mismatched throughout the film. Several outdoor scenes have blown out highlights. There's also an awkwardly shot scene with the main character and the detective where the 180 degree rule is broken multiple times and it's jarring to say the least. 2. Lots of scenes are shot with noisy room dialogue. 3. The dialogue is not like natural speech. Characters deliver their lines with awkward pauses waiting for the next character to deliver their lines. Not at all like people really speak. 4. This film needs to be cut down by 30 to 45 minutes. Far too much dead time on the screen with nobody speaking.
Bottom line - good premise with bad execution.

If this movie had a lead actor up to the roll this would be one of my all time favorites. At no point during this movie did it ever look as if he wasn't acting. Not one emotion or facial expression one piece of dialog did it seem at all natural. The plot the location the writing and everyone else was excellent. One roll and one roll only this lead actor would be perfect for would be a biographical story of William Shatner. Watch this movie enjoy this movie just don't focus on Gabe Fazio. If you can get past the cheesy ham I have no doubt you will enjoy this. It's more atmosphere then bloody and it's lack of gore might bother some and many may not consider this a horror movie more thriller/mystery. Without details how the movie ends, first it was not what I expected and second I really can't think of any ending that could be better. Other theN the great writers/directors I've always thought that "brought to you by the people who brought you, insert movie title, was kind of a joke not with this I will actively search out movies E.B. Hughes is in involved with. Most people who review things myself included are really good at picking nits and many movies are so formulated it's easy to see what will most lucky be the ending and in this movie it was not easy to see because much of the story seems blank and even though I had no clue how it would end I can say the pieces fit together cleanly with no trickery no forced twist it's all just fits in the end. Nothing more needs to be said.
I was lucky enough to see this film at a festival in Buffalo, and the audience was buzzing when it was over. A fantastic slow burn indie, keeps the audience on the edge of their seat. The two leads were fantastic, as was the entire cast. I have no clue what the first reviewer was watching, but he seemed pretty engaged to only give it two stars??? Odd. This movie was made with pure passion.....you can tell. Beautifully written and directed, with eerie undertones. One of the things I loved about it, is how it unfolds, and how it plays out like you're on this journey with this couple. You'll NEVER see the end coming.....NEVER. Brilliant work from a director to keep your eye on.
The app I used to find Exit 0 classified it as horror. It's not. It kept me entertained to the end. I thought it was a enticing story, but I still don't know the story-accurately. Maybe I missed a major, but small scene. If I say more, then it would a spoiler. I think it's fair to say, it's not that memorable.
I enjoyed this tale. It wasn't over-drmatised or cheap and it had intrigue...
