Thank you so much Joy Koy for sharing invaluable, AWESOME, ROCK STAR you/YOU and your wonderful gifts!
You have such a vast imagination, a high level of mental and emotional intelligence, impressive creativity, soul-igniting and heartfelt interpersonal skills, natural talent, and keen, Heart-centered observations of humanity and interconnected Life.
Continue SHINING BRIGHT🌅 Soul brother-my Asian brother from another mother 😜-by simply Being Full-Potential, Multidimensional, WHOLE🌗 you🌝/You🌚, to include:
Open-minded (but discerning rather than gullible), open-hearted (with healthy boundaries), authentic (embracing ALL neutral aspects of WHOLE self/Self, to include ALL important FEELINGS, language of the integrated Heart/Mind), free-spirited, adventurous, FUN 🐸 (it's CRYSTAL CLEAR you enJOY comedy), animated, goofy, playful, hilarious, lovable, wise, resilient, assertive, refreshingly honest, brave (for speaking and sharing your deeply heartfelt, inner-truths during your 4th Netflix Special; we LOVE your funny accents! 😆), magnetic, deeply understanding, compassionate, unconditionally loving (for the self/others/Life), unconditionally forgiving (for the self/others/Life), very thoughtful and generously helpful (especially for your culture's people), informative, encouraging, uplifting, empowering, inspiring, and we have no doubt much more.
Your other Netflix specials are great too, and we especially appreciate the most recent Live from L. A. we watched tonight 😄, as well as this one, definitely THE BEST!!
So we're super happy for you for having the COURAGE to pursue your Heart's passionate, fiery dreams, despite various challenges.
Thank you for Leading By Example!
We need more strong, wise, and unconditionally loving Souls like you in this world, who touch so many hearts, and greatly contribute to the expansion of our individual and Collective Consciousness.
Wishing you and your loved ones an abundance of blessings! 😘💖💓💕

A chicken and flip flops
"Women will laugh and pee at the same time!" Jo Koy tells us in his latest special. Koy did not fail to leave the pants of some, a bit moister than when he started in, Jo Koy: Live from Seattle. Returning with his latest special since 2012. Jo Koy: live from Seattle is a perfect encore to his 2012 special "Jo Koy: Lights Out". Sticking to his self-Deprecating moderately wholesome style Koy steers us down a path of his childhood paralleled by comparisons of his own sons. Listening to Koy tell us how his father "only married his mother because he likes Chinese food" is funny, but hearing Koy respond that "mom's Pilipino" was far funnier. I found his creative sense of storytelling coupled with his unique enthusiasm enthralling, to say the least. Koy will not fail to keep you laughing the entire time. "A chicken and flip flops" professes Koy, is what a comedian in the Philippines makes per show. Watching a 1400-person audience cheer Jo on makes me think that he'll be bringing home more than a chicken and flip flops. Koy's family friendly-ish humor is fun for all and I would give it a solid 9 out of 10.

Hysterical!!!! For those people who did not enjoy this routine - something is horrifically wrong with your sense of humor. I shared this routine with numerous friends and family & not one person did not find this guy funny, actually he's beyond funny!!!! So for those of you who gave this guy a bad review - shame on you - take the sticks out of your a**es and lighten up. Seriously - this is great entertainment if you enjoy comedy and a great laugh. It's a shame there are so many haters out there, don't let their reviews ruin it for you. Watch it and judge for yourselves - keep those jokes coming Jo!!! Great job.
I'm only familiar with his material from those short skits on Facebook. I didn't know he had full length comedy shows available on Netflix. I decided to tune in as I fall asleep. Well hell no! His first anecdote grabbed my attention and I was laughing out loud. Everything he's talking about had a lot of truth.
I thought the whole show was too short and I had to admit, he ended with a weak story. But all in all, worth the time! Don't let the hateful comments fool you. This is hilarious! I think they're reviewing Amy Shumer's show and clicked on this one by mistake.

- TriviaJo Koy said that Netflix originally didn't want a comedy special from him, so he paid for all of the gear to film it himself. Once it was completed, he brought it to Netflix and they agreed to air it.
