The movie was so good. Anushka and everybody acted very good in the movie. The movie lagged a lot at the 1st half of the movie but the 2nd half of the movie was very interesting and thrilling. BGM in the movie was very good. There are many twists in the 2nd half which was very interesting in the movie.
If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? Just watch it! It is such a masterpiece & Anushka Shetty did a fantabulous job! Sucha great actor! Loved it so much! Everything about this movie is 10/10, i can go forever praising this iconic piece of art!
Bhaagamathie is kind of different movie which we never used to watch before. Its on socio-political issue as well as horror and thriller movie. There are 5 reasons given below that why should you watch this movie.
* Anushka Shetty's performance - Anushka Shetty's outstanding performance as Chanchala (which we have seen in her other roles e.g. Devsena, Sweet etc.) * The versatile star cast - the other stars of movies, Unni Mukundan, Asha Sharath, Jayaram, are versatile actors and well-known in their own industries. * Thaman's BGM - The background music and songs are really very sweet. * Film Direction - Direction of movie is too good that it has scary scenes, but more focused on its story. * Tailor-made script for Anushka - The script of movie written by Director G Ashok specially keeping Anushka Shetty in mind. He waited 4 years for her to give the dates.

Bhaagamathie is a perfect example of a film that starts in one vein and ends in another. Borrowing elements from films like Manichitrathazhu (1993) and The Usual Suspects (1995), it narrates the story of a murder convict and former IAS officer Chanchala (Anushka Shetty) who is locked inside a haunted mansion by the CBI so that they can question her about a minister (Jayaram) who they think is corrupt. With shades of the horror genre evident in the cinematography (jump scares) and the background music, the film situates itself on a plot that is crooked at best. Why would CBI choose such a location even when they don't want publicity? The contrived nature of the plot plays against the purpose of the film as the discerning viewer is already fed up with convenient storytelling. However, if you ignore this nature, Bhaagamathie can turn into a passable affair as pretty-faced Shetty leads the show with her subtle performance, supported heavily by the electrifying Jayaram. The first half manages to create a setup that you will expect more from in the second half, but unfortunately, it dilly dallies around for long before expediting the wrapping process. At the end, there are just one too many twists and turns for one to follow, giving you a feeling that Bhaagamathie is more of a cheap thriller than a horror film. If you have nothing better do and love either of the actors I mentioned, then this is a watchable film. Otherwise, skipping wouldn't hurt. TN.
A wonderful movie made me felt WOW while watching. The entire movie tied the audience to focus it, as there is no such distractions or unwanted stuffs. Each scene had its important, though some scenes are illogical and confusing.. that did not spoiled the interest.
Wonderful architecture can be seen in the movie.. even little things will wonder us.. Like in a scene when anushka open the door a hand like lock will hold her hands that was really nice.. The entire palace and the ideology was awesome and it perfectly matched with the story..
Anushka's acting was brilliant and the credits should goes to the director. He utilized her talent well to renovate the movie. Such a good mysterious thriller movie in Tamil.
