When Andy shows up at the Tonight Show studio for his new job he expects to be admitted noting it is 11PM and the show doesn't begin until 11:30PM. Using that logic, living in Nebraska he would have thought the show began at 10:30 when it airs there. If he was referring to 11:30 Pacific time that would mean the show would begin at 9:30 in Nebraska and 8:30 on the east coast.
