I wish we would have had more of this, because if you watched the series finale, you know there is more to the Kraang than what we were shown. That plot could have developed better if they had been given the time and support. But what we were given met expectations. It's amazing how powerful this version of the Kraang is to have the future they showed us. The movie has very good references to its previous incarnations and Casey's themes is something that will leave me intrigued. It bothers me a lot when haters say that this incarnation won't be able to attract new people to the fandom who are not older than 10 years. This show is what made me really interested in the rest of the versions, and if it only appealed to children, what would be the problem? The series have been precisely to attract that audience. It's a shame they let her go so easily with so much potential she has. There are many classic stories and characters that didn't get a chance to be shown.
Like many other reviewesr, I had my reservations about this series, not being particularly fond of some of the redesigns (Master Splinter is completely unrecognizable here) and the changes made to the plot and the characters.
After watching some of the episodes my impressions were more positive, mostly thanks to the good animation this series had, with an effective characterization. (The personalities of the characters are very different to their usual portrayal from the comic and the previous series, but the new characterization isn't necessarily bad, just different.)
If you are expecting to see a serious (Or at least, a semi-serious) version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, than you are going to be dissapointed by this series. I personally think this is more enjoyable as its own thing rather than as an adaptation.

I actually love this great animation and colors I love the action I love everything about this besides splinter I don't like the design for the rat but everything else is pretty good
I'm not a fan of this version of the turtles. Episodes are subdivided into two mediocre subplots, sole characters are too cartoonish and unlikeable, but man the show has something that None of the previous incarnations ever had: incredible style and animation. Cheesus, the animation is too-tier, anime heavy influenced, and that's awesome! The fights are so smooth and gorgeous, it does feel like an anime (in a good way, it's fun to watch), and the final battle... You must watch the final episodes guys, they're definitely worth it. Give it a chance, it can still entertain you.
People should give this a chance! It is amazing, and sure it's not as "dark" or "serious" as the previous versions, but the writing is spot on. This thing only got one season and a half, with the crew behind it having a LOT of plans for arcs that would make the show so much better. This show was actually amazing and got wrecked for being different and Nickelodeon giving it a garbage treatment
