The documentary 'Stuntman' follows legendary stuntman Eddie Braun as he attempts one of the most dangerous stunts in history. Contemplating retirement and having survived over three decades of hellacious car crashes, explosions, high falls and death-defying leaps, Eddie decides to complete what his childhood hero never finished -- the infamous Snake River Canyon rocket jump -- an audacious televised event that almost killed famed daredevil, Evel Knievel.

Great start and then hugely boring

The "stuntman" title is a bit misleading. It begins with Bauer's TV and movie stunts, which carries it a third of the way. The remaining two thirds is "daredevil" stuff, documenting a long and boring and constantly stumbling project to do the rocket over Snake River thing. The film is fifty percent meh.

Incredibly impressive

The work stunt men and women do is truly impressive. Cheers to Eddie and the achievement of a childhood dream. Academy award deserved for the eye roll at the dinner table.

Beautiful story, respect to all stuntmen and women

I loved the story and it's direction, didn't expect much and was surprised on how the story unveiled.

Dull and drawn out

How could a film about such an awesome stunt be so deadly dull??!!

The first few minutes are good,and the last ten minutes are impressive ,and well filmed. The rest is just drawn out and boring. Without commercials,this easily could've been done in 45 minutes.

When reading the final on-screen text, the narrator of the audio description track refers to the Snake River Canyon as "700" feet wide rather than "1700" feet wide.
