    For fans?

What kind of fans I ask you?

I was a fan, this movie is awful! I watched the original series, was this the series? No that I remember.

This movie basically undoes all the original series did in order to happen, and then it becomes boring.

My partner who is a greater fan than me doesn't want to finish watching, that's how bad it is.

Only good thing is the animation, but thats a given now, no?

    Trip to My childhood

    The Good

I'm very impressed by the quality of the animation and the level of details achived there is a good balance of CGI an traditional animation.

fast and energetic acction scenes, with docens of known enemies

The Bad It should be a reboot instead of a sequel

To many monologes and extensive explanations

    For fans!

Funny movie, something difficult to understand but that will meet the fans, a lot of action although some female characters are expendable

    Entertaining for fans

T is entertaining, I do not know if it is enough to see it in the cinema, I enjoy the nostalgia, it has a lot of action, it feels fast and complicated, difficult to follow but in reality it is not so much, the story is practically focused on only Koji Kabuto, all the others only do almost cameos, I did not like that. What I thought was bad enough for a movie of this time is that all the female characters were mediocre and those who were previously leading in the series fall into a low plane of only worry about their respective partners when they were former colleagues and the others are for fan service, LISA is not human and neither is the great character.

Seriously yes there are women who enjoy Mazinger Z, movies and series that are designed for a male audience we enjoy but we do not like to reflect us as I saw in this movie. I am not against the fan service but it did not have any female character that was worth it.

    Nostalgia, cameos, and great action

I used to Mazinger Z dubbed in Arabic, which I had no clue what was being said, but thoroughly enjoyed the action spectacle of giant robots battling. Having seen this full length animation with English subtitles, I was able to enjoy it even more. The animation was more slick and had a 3D feel, unlike the original series, which were hand drawn. However, the return of the original Mazinger Z to save the day was what made this movie great. Furthermore, it managed to retain the tone and action of the series, despite having triple the run time of the cartoon series. It was great to see the old characters, and old mecha monsters in action. It is also great that they are improved versions of their original selves. The action scenes are spectacular, and it is great that I finally get to see Dr Hell, and Duke Ashura battle against Mazinger Z. All battle scenes are spectacular, while the drama surrounding Koji, the Mazinger Z pilot is provided to provide more character motivation. However, the movie does not get mopey, but it more than delivers on action and spectacle. A must see for fans of giant robots in action.
