I have watched it all, and I really am confused. It seems to aim for the feminists with some of the jokes and then to the very opposite with some jokes, and I feel that it's very hard to find out who the characters really are, because of this - the continuity seems very far off sometimes. I finished it, but I must admit, I don't see how this show can get better, it is very wobbly.
And honestly, isn't the Mindblowingly Stupid Character-trope really overdone by now? I think this is where I leave this show, and honestly I have no idea who I would recommend it to.

To all the other reviews calling this show out for being over the top and that it's acting is ridiculous... I think people don't see that that's part of its charm! The stupid jokes and overacting ARE the show!!
Yes it's silly and dumb, but I enjoy these kinds of shows once in a while just to laugh.
It´s funny and uplifting. Even though most of the rewiews are bad i watched it in one sitting. I recommend it to smeone who needs get in a good mood.
After a wobbly start, this series is beginning to find its footing and actually be funny, while at the same time finding some heart.
It's done this by letting Michael actually be a kid, albeit a precocious one, and letting Vince actually exhibit some character growth. And by letting Matthew be Matthew. The humor relies less on glib one-liners and more on the situations they find themselves in.
But it sure took the writers/producers a while to figure this out and I fear they may have lost the audience.

It took a while for this show to find its footing, but once it has (by ep. 5), it's REALLY GOOD. It's one of the wittiest, smartly-written comedies around.
I don't understand how anyone can be annoyed with JJ Totah. What he's representing in this show means so much to a lot of people and he does so with infectious charm and energy.
I'm interested to find out the other characters' stories so I hope they get more than one season. Give it a shot, people.
