This really starts off strong. Especially the first episode is something to behold. And in general this is well written and acted too. There is drama, there is mystery, there are a few twists and turns (even after all is over - sort of). But it does get a bit repetetive towards the end and there are certain soap opera elements that may annoy some viewers.

Again, that may sound like nitpicking to some, I'm just keeping it real. Because this is good, this will strike a chord with people who experienced similar family circumstances and it does touch everyone with believe in their family in general too. Characters are flawed but they have to. It is life after all - and annoying things that should be different are part of it ...

Firstly, what an excellent cast. These are some seriously good actors, even the child was quite terrific. Add to that a well-written, well-crafted script with high production values and a great attention to detail in the set and you have an excellent series. By far and away the best I have seen out of Turkey. Well recommended.

Suspense, great acting, hooked me in straight away and never let go.

Innocent is truly a gem and it immediately succeeds in characters,scenes, twists etc. from the very beginning. It is a story gripping you initially and never letting you at the end of each episode. The script is totally convincing and intriguing and so is the cast. I really loved the tone and mood of the series. I believe one would enjoy the music too. The acting of great actor Haluk Yavuzer adds depths to the show. All in all, I would highly recommend this TV series to everyone looking for something new, genuine and captivating.
