I LOVE IT

This was absolutely incredible, I haven't laughed so hard in a loooong time. Bancoran is handsome, while Maraich is so so CUTE! And Patalliro is charming and hilarious, something I wouldn't normally say for animated & manga Patalliro; though I'm not caught up with the manga yet. I really hope there will be more of these stage plays! Patalliro in live action is very, very fitting. I feel like it's easier to enjoy these stage plays than the manga & anime, since you have to... be very desensitized to fully enjoy it? The stage plays are something I could recommend to people, while the manga and anime are... really hard to recommend to anyone. Please, watch this stage play!

The producers were unsure whether to cast a male or female actor as Maraich, due to his effeminate appearance. Mineo Maya's daughter Marie Yamada insisted that Maraich be played by a male actor, and so the male Hiroki Sana was cast.
