Worst television programme ever made?

This is a show where nothing happens, there is no point, there is no entertainment. What is the POINT?

Unlikeable Brits having non-adventures in Spain.

There is no goal, no direction or anything of any note happening for a single second.

Slack jawed aging people messing about whilst people film them. I want everybody on this programme chucked into the ocean just so I could have a shred of fun.

Depressing waste of time!

Absolute rubbish.

It's a bargain basement, poorly made Channel 5 programme.

They don't seem to have an original idea, so just rehash the same format in different ways again and again.

Woeful entertainment.

Bargain loving brits in the sun not only offers endless entertainment but a clear look into those who have decided to take the plunge abroad.

Ranging from your classic gary's and phil's pouring carling on tap in a british themed pub that serves a full english and shots everytime england scores to shrivelled old women toasting on the benidorm beach.

If you want to see why we voted leave watch this show. It changed my life.

Brilliant. I can't tell you for why.

This is one of my favourite programs on TV. I find it utterly compelling even though it's just people scraping a living in Spain! Everyone seems to love it there.

On Wednesday, 22nd September 2021, Channel 5 Television announced that it has commissioned a 6-episode seventh series of the documentary series and that production on series 7 was already underway. The announcement also included the news that existing spin-off show Bargain Loving Brits By the Sea has also been recommissioned and that 40 episodes of a new spin-off show Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun - Costa Living had also been commissioned.
