Loved it! I do wish the series had of had more interest from the public. Cause I liked it.
Constantine is a great character. Be good if he and the team got more air time and better time slots!
This was some of if not THE best work ive seen in a literal decade from DC animation.
Its made for the growing audience which is has to start recognising. many of us are in our 20's even 30's now and we still love watching the old justice league and batman series and all the films. But to grow with your audience is so important to keep the brand really alive. Produce adult content in animation next to content made for kids. You can do both and this little series proves it 100%
This series is about Constantine, a sorcerer in the DC universe. In this series the main protag accepts a job that results in him delving into the world which our hero Constantine lives in within the world of the DC universe.
This series is different from your typical DC series. there is no "costumed heroes" or "big baddie" but instead demons, angels, and lots of other supernatural stuff. There is also a twist on it, being that you wont find your typical "boo's" and such. Instead you'll see fleshed out characters and an interesting story arc that branches out as each episode unfolds.
Humans are not the focus in this series, instead the focus of the series is on the supernatural aspects of it, like the magic and mythical creatures and such. It's a good series and it's clearly a risk for DC to branch out to such a series that is completely out of the normal formula for them. But it's a risk that was worth taking for them as the quality is superb and the world it's building within the already established universe explains alot more than what the other series did for the supernatural aspect of the DC universe.
If you're a fan of magic and supernatural stuff but still love that DC style, this series is for you. But even if it's not, I'd still suggest watching it. It's pretty good. The biggest fault of this series though is that it's way to short and the episodes end on cliff hangers all the time. It would of been better if they just made this into a movie or even hour long episodes instead of 10 minute long ones.

This is just a loose mish-mash of two distinct stories in the Hellblazer universe and they managed to even mess that up. The tactics John uses here make no sense, and are just a deus ex machina the writers pulled out their ass because they didn't have enough imagination to come up with something that works. Of course they could have just used the original plot... which worked way better.
Read the comics.
Way.
Way.
Better.
The only right thing in this sorry excuse of a story is the voicing.
This was great but a little disappointing. Each "episode" is barely six minutes long and it ends without any kind of resolution or a cliffhanger. It just stops, abruptly right as the plot is starting to unfold. As a huge Constantine fan I feel it was a little half assed. Maybe they will make more and pick this back up.
As for the animation and voice acting and judging the mere content, it's great. Still worth a watch even though it can be done in one sitting.
