Kara Mann (Bree) had to cry on cue while carefully cutting the left strap of her dress. Due to the intensity of the scene and circumstances of having only one copy of the red dress, Mann had to practice multiple times before filming the scene in one take. Mann is also left handed and had to learn to cut with her right hand.
