Great movie that will make you laugh, but all too suddenly make you cry.
It needed to be at least 15/30 minutes longer with scenes in between the club and the hospital.
I would have written more developments between the brothers and the coach and the friend and the decision to train again. And at least sprinkle in some clues that a shift was coming.
Overall, good movie. D. O. Seems like he can really do EVERYTHING. I love my short king!
(I don't really have anything to add but to reach my character limit I guess I'll just say that Yes I would recommend this movie but No I probably won't rewatch it.)

Wow! I started watching without any idea what this was about. Because Jung Suk was acting I expected a comedy. But no ... I was crying towards the end.
Both actors did well in bringing out their love hate half-sibling relationship when the older brother is out on parole to look after his Olympian dongsaeng who became blind after an injury to his head during a judo competition. One cares only of his temporary freedom while the other is utterly depressed and refuses to leave the house.
Therein begins a story of how these 2 brothers form a hate love co dependent relationship and slowly learn to live with each other. The older brother stars taking better care of the disabled one and slowly they form a less uncomfortable alliance.

As a hallyu veteran, I could have guessed the exact story before viewing this movie. Despite this, the acting and characterization by the 2 main leads went beyond my expectations making for a greatly enjoyable watching experience. The familiar blend of comedy and drama elements of Korean entertainment has really been perfected in this film. My main criticism; the plot felt rushed from around the halfway mark and the 2 other characters that should have been essential to the story felt like generic placeholders. I was still sufficiently emotionally satisfied in the ending despite it and Hyeong has definitely become a top K-film for me.
This movie was beautiful and I'm happy I was able to see it. But fyi your going to need tissues your nose will be stuffed up and you will be crying alot. So heads up yeah? I love you Korea I'm coming to you. Xox.
For once, a K-movie that isn't centered around romance, yet still, is fun and at times, heart-wrenching. Hyeong follows the development of a relationship between two brothers who had been estranged for some years - not to mention, one is disabled. The progression of their relationship had me angry at first, but at the end my heart was full, while I was nearly in tears. Definitely a good one, and worth the watch!
