    Fresh perspectives on Shakespeare!

If you had asked me 25 years ago, if I would ever get tired of Shakespeare, I would have been deeply offended. At this point, our favorite plays have been done and redone and redone again. It seems like he's the one everyone reaches for work when they're out of ideas. The Bard's most diehard fans may never be unhappy to view a performance or adaptation, but we seem to no longer be excited by them.

Don't get me wrong, I expected to enjoy this! As I am familiar with the artists stage work, I expected it to be excellently done. What I didn't expect, was to find it enchanting or refreshing!

The director and performers understand the text, but they also understand the audience. The poetry is there, and the passion is there! The perspectives might surprise you.

I cannot recommend this highly enough to any Shakespearean devotees.
