I loved this film! I wasn't sure what to expect, but that turned out to be a good thing. It was unlike anything I've seen before,
and I loved every minute. The casting of the lunch ladies was perfect, the story was original, heartwarming (is that appropriate to feel while watching a horror film? Yes!) and hilarious. Also, it's visually amazing. Even if you're not into dark comedy/horror, the set design, decoration and choreography (yes, you read that correctly) are worth the watch. I know it's a short film, but I wasn't quite ready for it to end. Definitely one that I'd love to see as a feature. It's that much fun!

This short was so well written. Damn near flawless. The acting was stellar and engaging! The direction could not have fit the writing more perfectly! My only complaint is I need MORE! Can not wait for this to be made into a feature! Hope you are listening Hollywood or anyone else with the good sense to make a film that is new and fresh and thoroughly mesmerizing. Thanks again for the laughs and the cringes Lunch Ladies, looking forward to more of WWJD!

This brilliantly executed short film is not only very funny it is also deeply touching. The quality of the dialogue is perfectly rendered by two solid actresses. In addition to being very entertaining this film will keep you away from cafeteria food for a long time which in itself is a very good thing.
Greetings again from the darkness. There is only one place where murder, mayhem, meals and Johnny Depp could all come together ... the school lunch room! A comedy-horror short film, if done well, is a certain hit at film festivals, and that's proving to be the case for this fun little gem from director J.M. Logan and writer Clarissa Jacobson.
Seretta (Donna Pieroni) and LouAnne (Mary Manofsky) are two long time lunch ladies who are beside themselves with excitement. See, they have just received notification that their Cheesy Burger Bites recipe won the contest for a Kids' Charity event sponsored by Johnny Depp. Seretta and LouAnne are such huge fans of Depp that they wear Depp t-shirts, Depp watches, and have a worn out DON JUAN DEMARCO movie poster on the wall. They are also convinced that winning this contest is going to lead directly to their hero hiring them as his personal chefs.
After a death by plunger (not plunging), the film reminds a bit of the 1982 classic EATING RAOUL, with a couple of nods to FARGO and THE BIG LEBOWSKI. It's a fun and clever little film that asks "WWJD" (What would Johnny do?).

Lunch Ladies got it all right. If you want gore, you'll get it. If you want to laugh, you'll get that, too. The lunch ladies go to great lengths, and great depths, to make their way to Johnny Depp. The special effects were way too on-point for what must have been a very low budget short. The cinematography was a thing of beauty. The first cafeteria scene is something to behold. And the final cafeteria scene, well, I'll see you for lunch. Please let this be made into a feature film.

- Trivia48 pie tops were made of salt dough and varnished, a hot glue gun was used to attach the tops to pie tins. 25-30 real pies were made. 20 pounds of flour was used and the meatloaf was made from cheap very fatty ground beef, SpaghettiOs and Saltine Crackers - a big loaf of greasy gristle with wormy looking bits - yummy.
- Goofs01:40, bottom of the letter reads, "P.S. airfair not included". That would be correctly spelled as "airfare".
