A big enjoyable dose of... nothing

A guy goes to rob a house and becomes reluctantly embroiled in a young woman's suicide attempt. Finding the conscious he has been missing so far in his life he returns to help her.

There are so many reasons why I should hate this film. I actually can't understand how I enjoyed it as much as I did.

First off there is hardly any plot. This is just a pair of beautiful losers hanging out for a day, talking laughing and fighting. Yet I found it compelling viewing.

In my reviews of "Ocean's 8" and "Focus" I was very quick to wail on the main characters on account of them being scumbag criminals -both leads played by possibly the most two charismatic actors alive. Inexplicably that is not an issue here. I was really invested in what they are up to and I wanted them to turn their lives around. I guess that is this "chemistry" thing people are always banging on about.

If you want excitement or clever plot twists or nudity or pretty much anything outside of a rather standard romance then steer well clear of this. Saying that I really enjoyed this, take a gamble put it on in the background and see if it drags you in.

At first I wasn't sure, but...

Already at the beginning of the movie I thought, No, I don't like people who break into homes, this is not my kind of movie. But... separate myself from my feeling about burglars, the movies, the cast did a really good job! The story, without giving anything away, drew me in, I felt for the characters, I could understand how it could happen, if someone is not a bad person deep down and would really like to do the right thing, while the other is a bit of an attention seeking nut case. One thing was the number plate, I expected more to happen about that... I think it is entertaining and funny enough to watch and Milo played his part well. Someday he may be as good or as popular as his Dad, even if there is no Mad Max.

whoa !! , a lot of mixed feelings, unrealistic reviews up in here..

Let me cut it short,, not the best romance comedy ever,, but gotta give them it was enjoyable ,,

The plot for me was original ,, and it peaked perfectly, with that easy connected script ,, i really liked it .. the comedy was quick, wasn't laughing on my back, but had more than few giggles here and there , and the ending of was satisfying with a little funny surprise.

The cast ,, first time watching Milo, Mil Gibson's son ,, and apparently he's been acting for less than two years now ,,but honestly, the man got the acting genes and he did well ... as for Jordan Hinson, Oh, i loved her back in Eureka ,, amazing show, gotta watch it if you didn't,,, and she was good here too,, also liked they brought Colin Ferguson as a guest too,, wished he had more lines though .. :D

anyway,, saw a lot of 1/10 followed by 10/10 reviews ,, Nah,, not that bad and neither that good .. the move is good , enjoyable and is recommended..

Excellent movie! Loved everything about it especially the end

I loved this romantic comedy. Got attached to the characters and felt the sadness, joy, fear and love throughout the movie. This is how I know a movie is well done!

The actors did an amazing job and the movie was well produced to have you transported with them !

I laugh a lot also which made it all worse it ! And I love that they also make it a movie about awareness on a really important issue.

Thanks for a really entertaining evening

    Too unlikely

The house is beautiful to look at, but the story is just too unlikely for me to enjoy it. The decisions of the characters just don't make any sense.
