first half is OK but in 2nd half story line is typical when kill rapist in bus, bus route change and bring to dolly location make any sense!? and why placed item number after interval ? it seems irrelevant..
A typical Hindi film. And naturally, a very obvious ending- villains get killed. If you haven't already seen the movie, sorry I spoilt the ending for you... but hey, I'm saving you from the torture! As for Aditi Rao Hydari... darling I hope you get Laryngitis!

#Bhoomi is an emotional dad-daughter tale. The daughter is raped n the dad takes badla. This is the one-line story, it is old-fashioned n there is no novelty in the narration. But the emotional scenes r well handled. Hydari, as the victim, looks innocent, delicate n vulnerable, she performs well. She is the one who encourages her dad to take badla n kill the criminals (unlike in Kaabil, Mom n Maatr). Sanjay Dutt is good as the aggrieved father. Nothing great about the other actors. The length needs to be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 2.5/5.
The message of the film is good, loud and clear however it falters at execution. Omang Kumar has made a couple of good films like Mary Kom and Sarbjit. This one is more dramatized and loud. The execution of the rape scene and the aftermath does not do justice to the film. The editing is choppy and the climax is extremely predictable. With the same concept Sri Devi's Mom was way ahead in execution. Sanjay Dutt gives a heartfelt performance and he is the true scene stealer. Shekhar Suman's comic timing is good too. The supporting cast is good. Sharad Kelkar plays his role perfectly too. He looks menacing and packs a punch. The female lead could have done better. Aditi Rao Hydari cannot carry the heavy emotional scenes well. She does not convince as the rape victim out for revenge.
Sanjay Dutt was awsome!!! But all the others where over dramatic!!! Aditi Rao Hydari was an actress with excellent acting skills. But she failed drastically, actually one of her worst movies, which is clearly due to bad direction!! Had watched this movie with a very high expectation, but too dissapointed!!!
Bhoomi is really a good movie to watch but ends up predominantly as a cliché. Amongst the very new title such as Mom(2017), Bhoomi is centered shrine a girl who gets brutally manhandled by people. The father and daughter duo then takes the revenge and touch upon many social issues today's girls in India are facing! The story is quite predictable but the acting is good. Sanjay Dutt after long time had made his re entry into films and quite faithfully ran his character.. The movie will make you emotional, rage you up against the violence against woman. Good watch for one time!
