The screenplay won the Finlandssvensk Novel Film Competition 2017 organized by the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle (Svenska Yle), the Finnish Film Foundation, the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland. The aim of the competition was to develop Finnish-Swedish drama and open a door for new filmmakers and revelations.
