    I Love Bert

I have a friend who is the spit and image of Bert, same personality. Here the lumbering geologist wins a prestigious award and lots of money and Sheldon is jealous. Of course, he believes that geology is not a science. Of course, in practical, day to day terms it is probably more important than what Sheldon is doing. It does lead to some funny stuff as Sheldon inadvertently begins destroying parts of his body.

    • Trivia
Professor Stephen Hawking mentions he has been on "Star Trek" and "The Simpsons". He indeed appeared as a hologram of himself in "Descent (1993)" and voiced himself in four episodes of "Les Simpson (1989)". He also appeared in "Futurama (1999)", which was made by the creators of "The Simpsons".
    • Goofs
Upon seeing an unattended bicycle in the hallway that belongs to someone in the apartment building, Sheldon says that he'd steal it if he knew how to ride it. But in "The Creepy Candy Coating Corollary (2009)", he makes mention of a bully from his childhood who put dog poop on the handlebars of his bicycle. For a know-it-all like Sheldon, it seems unlikely that he'd own a bike if he didn't know how to ride it.
    • Quotes

Sheldon Cooper: I admire you, Leonard.

      Leonard Hofstadter: Really? Why?

Sheldon Cooper: You're happy with who you are. You don't get jealous of other people. Instead of being weighed down by ambition, you just float along like a dead body in a river.

Leonard Hofstadter: [to himself] I couldn't just take the compliment. I had to ask why.

I'm confused. Are we not supposed to pay taxes anymore? Or is that option just available for smart people? Also, where did we wind up on crotch grabbing? Just for famous people or is it something anyone can do now?
