Fabulous animation for its era and for all times

I saw this animation for the first time as a teenager, because it was used for the opening titles of an afternoon TV show about pop music. I didn't know anything about Pink Floyd but I was mesmerised by the perfect coordination of the music with the images.

It was my favourite throughout that TV season and then I lost track of it until the marvels of modern technology brought me back to it after decades. I learnt it was also titled French Window and I still found it as magic as I did back then. It doesn't get any more perfect than this.

Saw this in an art theater in the early '70's, blew my mind

I think I was about 12 when my mom and I saw this at the local art film house. I had always enjoyed Pink Floyd as it was a favorite of my older siblings. This was totally mesmerizing - I felt like I was seeing music, feeling color, everything was so well-coordinated and seamless. I wasn't even high! (Although I'm pretty sure many in the audience were.) I remembered the title and looked for it when the internet launched years later. Came up empty for years, then one day - there it was. Still just as incredible as it was back then.

ETA - Apparently I need to add more characters to post a review.
