JERRY MAGUIRE, the Stallone action picture DAYLIGHT and Woody Allen's EVERYONE SAYS I LOVE YOU are the three pictures reviewed this week and we do get some fireworks. The critics highly disagree on the Woody Allen film and this leads to a good debate. There's also a segment of "The Revolving Thumb" where they take on certain issues bothering them and Ebert mentions some great movies that he wants Oscar voters to watch. Also, this also includes a fan segment where fans give feedback on the critics reviews and there's a kid attacking some of their thumbs up reviews. Wait until you hear Gene go after him! Great stuff.

Gene Siskel - Host: [referencing The Viewer's Thumb entry criticizing "Microcosmos"] His complaint seemed to be, "Let's have things faster, speed it up", and that, unfortunately, I think is a creation of lack of reading and watching frenetic television.
