Perdidos, also named Adrift (2017) was an absolute waste of time. From the very beginning, the film struggled to maintain any semblance of engagement. The plot was painfully slow, with long stretches of monotony that left me checking the clock repeatedly. The characters lacked depth and any real motivation, making it difficult to care about their fates. The visuals, while passable, could not compensate for the lifeless storytelling.
What made the experience even worse was the atrocious German dubbing. The voice acting was flat and emotionless, adding another layer of detachment to an already lackluster film. The mismatched lip-syncing further disrupted the viewing experience, making it nearly impossible to get immersed in the story.
Overall, Adrift, Perdidos or however you call it was a chore to sit through. The combination of a dull plot, uninteresting characters, and poor German dubbing resulted in a movie that felt more like a test of endurance than entertainment. It's a film I would not recommend to anyone, as there are far better options available that actually respect the viewer's time and intelligence. Save yourself the frustration and skip this one.

Very bad remake of a great movie...very bad actors.Complete disaster and waste of time!
The argument seams forced. Most of the dialogues aren't natural, with rigid language. The beginning of the film starts by setting up the relationships between the characters, but it starts off by demotivating the viewing of the rest of the movie. The movie then progresses going through all the expected cliches. Leaving little to the imagination, in a progression that is as predictable as it gets.
A good movie to study all that shouldn't be done.

A group of six friends head into the ocean for some relaxation and partying, they all jump into the water, and forget to drop the ladder down,
The original is marginally better, let's be honest, it's a fairly poor remake, it looks good, it features an attractive cast and some stunning location, but the food bits are just superficial.
For the first half an hour, nothing actually happens, it's all build up and chit chat, by the time they jump in, you're already wanting a shark to come along.
The script is a bit dodgy, and some of the conversations will have you peering behind your eyes.
The blow up orca was the only character I was rooting for!
Thirty minutes of chit chat, thirty minutes of bobbing up and down in the light, thirsty minutes of bobbing up and down in the dark.
It's a chore.
3/10.
