Ism (2016): Puri Jagannadh has lost his charm after Temper.His previous movies Jyothi Lakshmi and Loafer had failed to impress.His new movie Ism starring Kalyan Ram gathered attention with Kalyan Ram's look and interesting teaser.So how is Ism?? Did Puri scored this time??

Plot: Satya Marthanda(Kalyan Ram) is an easy going youth based in Europe. He falls in love with Alia(Aditi Arya) who is the daughter of a dreaded don Javed Bhai(Jagapathi Babu).Satya tries hard to woo Alia and right when the time both Alia and Javed Bhai approve of his love story, he cheats them big time and leaves back to India. Who is Satya ? What did he trap Javed Bhai's daughter ? How is Satya connected to Javed Bhai ? and what is the back story behind all this ?

Plus Points:

1)Production Values: Ism has rich production values with budget showing in each and every scene.The frequent showcases of Limos,helicopters etc.. shows that Kalyan Ram didn't put any conditions on budget.

2)Kalyan Ram and Jagapathi Babu: As usual,Kalyan Ram had lot of changeover into Puri's style.He did good job.Jagapathi babu gave decent performance in an ordinary don role.

Minus Points:

1)Story,Screenplay and Direction: Largely inspired from Wiki Leaks incident,Puri wrote a lackluster script with terrible screenplay.Even he failed in giving striking dialogues.Puri failed miserably in Ism.This marks as one of the worst movies of Puri Jagannadh after Andhrawala.Even his bad ones like Nenu Na Rakshasi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu are lot better than this torture.Entire movie is full of illogical scenes.

2)Actress: OMG!!!!!I think she has dangerous habit of giving pout..She is giving pouts in each and every scene irrespective of emotion.She is terrible:(

3)Music: Anoop failed miserably with his routine music.Songs do not strike a chord and lyrics are more terrible than music.BGM is nothing special.

So,Ism marks as one of the worst movies of 2016 and clearly a proof of Puri's SadISM.

My rating 3.5/10

One more flop for Poor i Jagannath. He has become more like RGV.

Even though there r many mistakes in movies, the concept is nice and the story is also well suited. I don't know why people only see bad or mistakes in movies but not the good. They will talk as if they have directed many movies and the movies collected more than avatar (LOL). So let us encorage them and let people direct these type of movies

Overall the movie was great

The brilliance of Puri is taking a serious criminal issue and spinning it with the hero perpetrating it (Mafia/Pokiri), intentionally ignoring it (Rapes/Temper), inspired by it (Mafia/Businessman) or committing a parallel criminal act (hacking against corruption/ism). By the time you feel guilty for rooting a criminal hero he re-spins again elevating the hero to such humanitarian heights that totally justify their actions.

If the courtroom scene in Temper was jaw dropping, the one in ism is equally good if not better. The dialogues to hero's father were simply riveting "They threatened you about me and you kept quiet fearing for my life. Now they are threatening me about you. if I also keep quiet fearing for your life what is the whole point?" (Goosebumps), "If you must die for the country, so be it. what is greater than dying for your country?" (Goosebumps again).

The love track or logistics of the story have the usual loopholes of being totally wacky for the sake of entertainment which was OK for me as I was well entertained, although first half could have been more engaging.

Songs were awful except for the climax song and heroine looks pretty but was pathetic at acting. Kalyanram did a great job and should elevate his career many folds. J Babu and Bharani did well in their roles.

Overall another Masterstroke for Puri.

Puri jagadnath is the take best films. He is written the story well. His Direction was just simply fantastic.

Kalyan ram is acted in pataas , ism , MLA. he is taken movies like that . In the ISM He done Excellent Act . This is make for journalist. In this there us hacking , love story and etc.
