The film festival program that the main character Jeffrey holds has a lot of silly wordplay printed within. The director Michael Bunch's name is listed in the program twice, but the second time it is listed as Miguel Mucho. The actor Carson Einarsen is also listed twice but both times as Carso Neinarsen and Cameron Einstein. The second name is "Cameron" because that's the name of the character Carson is playing in the film, revealing that his character also has a film playing in the film festival (not just the main character Jeffrey). In addition to being an actor, Carson Einarsen is also a filmmaker in real life, so the titles "6 O'clock" and "The Flickering" on the program are both spin-off names of two other real life student short films that he was working on during the making of "Please Remain Seated."
