Although a bus service covers the route from Middlesbrough to Ingleton, via Richmond and Hawes, the bus used for making this film was specially chartered with invited passengers, rather than being a normal service bus. The programme was filmed in real time (apart from a few stops along the way to resolve technical problems with the roof-mounted gyro-stabilised camera). The service bus covers Richmond to Ingleton in two hours, but in this film, even with a section omitted as the bus climbs out of Hawes towards Ingleton, the bus only reached Ribblehead Viaduct (wrongly captioned as Ribble Viaduct) by the time the two-hour programme finished. Aerial shots of the bus travelling through the landscape, taken from a drone, were shot on another occasion.
