Jaguar

This Movie is amazing to me. I enjoyed every moment of the film. You don't need a big budget to win the hearts of the audience, only if the story is good, the audience will rush to watch the film. One of My Favorite Movie is jaguar.

Jaguar, debut movie of grandson of former Prime Minister HD Devegowda. Starting with the trailer, the expectation was huge and the main highlight was the stunts matching Hollywood style. It is a typical commercial flick with a routine story. However, I loved the movie for the fact it has been carried well until end with a tight screenplay. The production values are high and first in Kannada movie industry matching other Big Industries of Indian Cinema. Nikhil has acted reasonably well and shows his energy of improving a lot in future movies. With a big cast of Tollywood & Sandalwood actors, beautiful locations one can see richness in every frame. The music has justified what is required for the movie. The main core of the movie is stunt which can be lauded. I have never seen stunts performed in Jaguar in any on the Indian Cinema until today. Full marks for the action sequences. Verdict: A routine story but impresses with richness and sets benchmark for other commercial movies. 9 out of 10.

Jaguar (2016): 70 cr budget on this movie proves that money matters nothing to few people.Jaguar,a Kannada-Telugu bilingual starring Nikhil Kumar,grandson of Indian former prime minister Deve Gowda released with a lot of publicity.K.Vijayendra Prasad,popular Telugu writer (Baahubali.Bajrangi Bhaijaan) is the story writer for this movie.So how is this Jaguar?

Plot: S S Krishna (Nikhil) studies in a medical college, which is owned by media mogul (Sampath) and his friend. Krishna claims to be orphan likes his classmate (Priya) whose brother is an idealistic senior medical student.Krishna who kills people wearing a mask starts provoking Priya's brother to become a leader. What is his motive behind it? Why he is killing people with the name Jaguar? Will CBI officer (Jagapathi Babu) nab him before he kills the villains?

Plus Points:

1)Production Values: Jaguar is richly shot with great visuals and camera work.Too much of money is spent on making it visually grand.

2)Action scenes: Action Scenes are stylish and definitely a feast for certain audience.Ram Lakshman did good job by composing stylish action sequences though it lacks logic(especially chase scene shot in foreign place).

Minus Points: Plot,Screenplay,Direction,Performances,Music etc...

Nikhil Kumar has no skills in acting.Except action scenes,his work is bad.

So,Jaguar is another routine commercial flick with over budget..
