The original release date was set for October 2022 however Bagman Rising took over 6 years to complete. Every set-back imaginable was thrown at the film-makers from crew quitting mid-way through to actors being re-cast as well as no support from locally-sourced outlets. The film was created from the ground-up without any outside funding from investors or government grants.
