Jason Statham wasn’t always an action movie legend. He started out as a competitive diver, and even modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s. But as soon as he made his big screen debut in Guy Ritchie’s “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” it was obvious. A star was being born.
Statham’s gravely voice, martial arts talent and toned physique served him well, and he quickly became one of the most recognizable action heroes of the 21st century, starring in billion dollar blockbusters and quirky crime thrillers, with a smattering of tough as nails or just plain weird genre films in the middle. And sometimes he also pokes fun at his grizzled persona, proving that he’s having just as much fun as we are.
Not every Jason Statham movie is great, but a lot of them are better than they get credit for. And even the silly ones are often 100% pure Statham.

Tom Hardy Is Crime Boss Pierce Brosnan’s Fixer In New Guy Ritchie Series MobLand — Watch The Trailer
Sometimes a trailer for a new movie or show comes along that's so direct, so to the point, so does-what-it-says-on-the-tin that all you really need to do is watch it and you know you're in. The teaser for genre filmmaker Guy Ritchie's upcoming, 10-episode Paramount+ gangster joint MobLand is one such trailer. All you really need to know going in is that Pierce Brosnan is crime boss Conrad Harrigan, Helen Mirren's his wife Maeve, and Tom Hardy is the Harrigan family's fixer Harry Da Souza. We'll let the trailer fill you in on the rest;
'Sympathy For The Devil' blaring. Brosnan purring lines like "we shake the right hands, we break the wrong ones." Mirren going we think Irish also as a chic mob matriarch. Hardy looking hard as nails rocking knuckledusters and a cockney accent. And the word 'War' daubed in blood on a warehouse floor.

The Netflix limited series Adolescencehas been nothing short of a sensation, earning rapturous reviews and sitting at the top of the streamer's top ten since its release. At a time when many streaming properties struggle to break through, Adolescence has managed to command attention for its visceral performances, technical virtuosity, and distressingly timely subject matter.
While everyone on the series gives it their all, it serves as an ideal showcase for the many talents of its co-creator and star, Stephen Graham. As Eddie, the father of 13-year-old suspected murderer Jamie, Graham radiates genuine love for his son along with deep anger and guilt in the wake of the allegations against him. It's a masterful performance that marks one of Graham's most visible projects to US audiences, but it's really just the latest in a long line of stellar work stretching back over three decades. Guy Ritchie's underrated spy comedy film starring Jason Statham will soon have a new streaming home. Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre will be available on Peacock on April 28.
Released in 2023, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre sees special agent and elite spy Orson Fortune (Statham) working to retrieve a stolen high-tech device called "The Handle" before an arms dealer (Hugh Grant) can auction it off to the highest bidder. In order to get back The Handle, Orson assembles an elite team of undercover agents. In addition to Statham and Grant, the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone and Eddie Marsan. Ritchie wrote, directed and produced.
The theatrical release of Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre faced several setbacks around the world. It was reported that the film was pulled from release because of its depiction of Ukrainian gangsters being the main antagonists working with Grant's villainous character.

In "Snatch," things aren't looking good for bare-knuckle boxing promoter Turkish (Jason Statham) when he loses his fighter to an injury and wants to switch him out for "One Punch" Mickey O'Neil (Brad Pitt). The news doesn't go down well with violent pig-obsessed crime lord Brick Top (Alan Ford), who stands to lose a lot of money from the bets that've already been placed. "I don't care if he's Muhammad 'I'm hard' Bruce Lee. You can't change fighters!" he protests.

Stephen Graham is rightfully receiving rave reviews for co-creating and starring in "Adolescence," itself perhaps one of the best Netflix Originals ever made. For Graham, however, outstanding work isn't anything new. While "Adolescence" may've formally put his name on the map, a quick search through his back catalog reveals the star has consistently delivered top-tier performances over the past 20 years.
Having proven himself a true chameleon with the monsters and tortured men he's brought to life over the years, Graham has collaborated with some of the most influential filmmakers and stars in movie history, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Brad Pitt (whose production company Plan B Entertainment helped get "Adolescence" off the ground), and Martin Scorsese. So, where do you begin with a talent like that? And what Graham projects merit should you check out after witnessing what might be his career-best turn in "Adolescence" (where he plays the heartbroken and deeply troubled father Eddie Miller)?

Snatch Season 2 – HeyUGuys travel to Spain to meet Rupert Grint, Lucien Laviscount & the cast on set
Back in May, HeyUGuys had the privilege of jet-setting over to the hot yet blustery hills of Malaga. The purpose of our journey was to join the returning cast of Snatch on set for the filming of season two of the heist comedy-drama. We had the pleasure of a tour around the set of the Spanish country home of The Hill gang as well as having a chat with the main cast members.
At the end of season one – after the youngest hustlers of the Hill gang were triumphant in making off with a boatload of gold bullion – the whole crew set off into the sunset on a yacht for a much needed holiday. However, there is no rest for the wicked. In season two, the team is on the lam and what begins as a well-deserved vacation quickly becomes a face-off with a local kingpin; another thrill-a-minute fight to save their fortune,...

It’s been over a year since the first season of Stranger Things burst onto the scene, an enthralling mashup of eighties pop culture iconography that garnered huge critical and commercial acclaim. The scale of the Duffer Brothers’ achievements in creating such a lovingly-crafted homage to a bygone era shouldn’t go unrecognised; here at Den of Geek, unable to wait until the end of this week for a return to this monumental ode to the eighties, we’ve tried to replicate their success through scientific means, but thus far, our tactic of placing a DVD of E.T. atop a tattered old copy of The Shining in the hope that they’ll mate hasn’t yet worked. Not even with Barry White blaring in the background.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll hear a lot about augmented reality, as Google, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft all make big pushes. Ar, they’ll be saying, is going to be huge and transformative. Yep, they’re probably right.
It’s worth noting the hype comes just a year after similar big noises were made about Ar’s more immersive cousin, virtual reality. In the year since, Vr’s momentum has slowed, the red-hot hype cooling to sludge. Despite that, I think it’s way too soon to write off the technology. In fact, now that the hype has eased, Vr and its many creators are starting to get a lot more interesting, innovative, and substantive. With luck, they’ll also make it all pencil out financially.

Rupert Grint, otherwise known as Ron Weasley (and Ed Sheeran's doppleganger), had a magical reunion last night with former co-star Bonnie Wright. Bonnie, who played Ron's younger sister Ginny in the Harry Potter franchise, came to show support for her on-screen big bro, who was celebrating his new show, Snatch, which premiered at Arclight Cinemas in Culver City, Calif. The two re-united at the after party, almost six years after the release of the last Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Even though it's been awhile since they last walked the halls at Hogwarts, the Harry Potter alums remain close friends. After all this time? Always. In fact, just last week,...

It's been almost six years since the last Harry Potter film hit theaters, but Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, is still very much attached to his onscreen family. The actor had a mini Hp reunion when he attended the La premiere of his new Crackle show, Snatch, at Arclight Cinemas on Thursday night. After hitting the red carpet with his costars (and doing impressions of Salt Bae), Rupert attended the premiere's afterparty where he met up with Bonnie Wright, who played his little sister Ginny Weasley. The two, who also reunited at Universal Studios Orlando's third annual "A Celebration of Harry Potter" in February 2016, were all smiles as they posed for the cameras. This also isn't the only dose of Harry Potter nostalgia we've received this week. Evanna Lynch, Jason Isaacs, and James and Oliver Phelps (aka Luna Lovegood, Lucius Malfoy, and the Weasley twins) stopped by the Warner Bros....

December 5th, 2016, 12:36pm– Rupert Grint has been filming Snatch today in the middle of Manchester city centre (Police Street to be more exact). In case you need reminding, Rupert is playing the posh character Charlie Cavendish who has the impeccable ability to pick out a dapper suit. He started filming Snatch back in August so they’ve been shooting this new series for about 5 months. Check out pictures from today in our gallery here. Alexander Cooke (a talent agent) also posted this epic photo on Instagram from the set the other day… those are some handsome lads indeed.

A full series finale is always a tricky thing to pull off. Not only does the plot of the last few episodes have to be wrapped up, but also a fitting end given to characters that audiences have grown to love over the years. Ripper Street’s final episode, Occurrence Reports, is one that manages to meet both of those needs head on by splitting the episode in two. The first half is dedicated to dealing with the final confrontation between Reid and Dove whilst the second half spends its time saying goodbye to the characters as they slowly go off...

November 2nd, 2016, 5:52pm– While Rupert Grint is busy filming Snatch, we have been busy behind the scenes as well and are proud to present our New Layout! While we loved Rupert eating his shirt in our previous layout, we wanted something new after three years! We hope you enjoy the new look as much as we do! And a huge Thank You to Cécile for your work!

October 20th, 2016, 4:14am– Rupert Grint took time out of his busy Snatch schedule to attend a fun event last night. He was at the Triumph Bonneville “Brutal Beauty” launch party in London where he enjoyed a night of beautiful motorcycles, loud engines and smoking tires. Throughout the night several drag races took place and it looks like Rupert might have gotten a taste for the Bonneville beauty as well: 615666792 You can see pictures of Rupert (looking very dashing in a brown leather jacket!) in our gallery here.
