This film feels like it took inspiration from the mummy and Indiana Jones add a little bit of hiest movie and a ton of Chinese camp and you'll get close to this film. The film is a mess from crazy odd comedy bits to physics that give fast and furious a run for there money this film is a mess but it's fun and has charm if you can get into it you'll have fun.

I really love the modern Chinese movies, great visual effects. This movie is an adventure movie, Indiana Jones-like one with a touch of humour.
Definitely to recommend!
I love chinese movies. However, this movie disappointed me. Even I don't know, I couldn't laugh in the comedy scene too. The story is very common, maybe we all have watched this kind of movie in some time in our life. I felt bored while watching it. It dragged too much.
If you look at this as a parody of Indiana Jones films with three times the action and twice the plot you can enjoy this period piece with pre-war trains and planes and exotic settings. There are Russian bad guys, American provocateurs, an Arabian prince, unscrupurous Japanese and the women are tougher than men (a line in the movie). Locations move from the Gobi Desert and Mongolia to Nanjing and Shanghai as an unlikely trio of protaganists chase an illusive artefact of ancient significance. Halfway through it becomes like a Mission Impossible episode, on the Titantic, with a quasimodo like Darth Vader lurking in the background.
Who would have thought that (Kenny) Lin Geng Xin, who played the brooding and dashing Yu Wen Yue in Princess Agents has this side in him? Talk about versatility.
For a Few Bullets stars Kenny Lin Geng Xin as con man Xiao Zhuang who dreams of being the number one hustler in the world. He lands an opportunity to steal an ancient Chinese artifact from the Japanese. To beat the Japanese and other groups interested in getting their hands on the artifact, he joins hands with agent Li Ruoyun (Zhang Jing Chu) who hopes to recover the national treasure. They also team up with con artists Shi Fo (Kenneth Tsang) and Jin Sanniang (Liu Xiao Qing).
This is hilarious, campy and rowdy. It might not be as good as Indiana Jones but I had fun watching it.
