Not a bad show. However, I'm just a little confused on how these teenagers react to certain situations. For example, why would Mary hide she got bitten? Also, wouldn't Grover, her brother, be a little more distraught about his sister turning into a zombie...basically dying? Why is he showing up to detention on a Saturday to be near a girl he likes? That's just straight up weird and creepy. And why is Natalie hiding her pregnancy from everyone? Seriously what's the big deal. I know they're supposed to be teenagers and I used to be one, but I don't ever remember being this stupid and lacking this much common sense. Then again, this is a tv show...so I guess that lack of logic with the characters make it enjoyable? I don't know. Still, I thought it had a decent story line. Just a poorly written dialogue. The actors did a decent job with the script they were given though.
This starts off quite good and loses a bit of its own focus. Or rather gets entangled by all the teen cliches one can throw at the viewer. Not to mention all the tropes from scared person makes worst possible decision. The cliches include all those secrets a character apparently is able to withhold until the appropriate moment comes for a reveal.
Wouldn't call those things coincidences, but what do I know, right? Anyway, the beginning is strong, full of mystery and some of it can carry on, even if the focus is heavily on the teenage part of the cast (I would have loved to see more of the character played by Chad Coleman for example or someone else mature who doesn't change his or her mind every other second).
The end of season 2 is also ... horrible in all the wrong senses. I reckon they though this would get renewed ... and it didn't ... so even if you feel this deserved a better rating up to that point ... you won't be leaving this satisfied! Quite the opposite will be the case.

This is a great show. It has horror and suspense elements but unlike many shows alike, it is still somewhat believable but doesn't take itself too seriously. The cast does their job well and the effects work.
Feels like a cheap knock-off of The Andromeda Strain meets The Walking Dead, and the biggest issue I have with this show is that the characters don't seem particularly traumatized by what's going on around them.
Watched the first season, not sure I'm going to bother with S2. It's meh, but good enough to kill some spare time with.

Great balance between shock value, comedy, and romance. The social media influencers did an excellent job with the acting (much better than I would have dared to expect). The dynamic between characters is great, and I found myself instantly wanting to watch the next episode at the end of each one (perfect for binge watching).
