    No! No! This was terrible.

Karla Mosely, the black actress who plays the friend, Nicole, was great. She has real star quality and can act.

HOWEVER, this movie was really bad, even graded on a Hallmark curve. Watching it was one long cringe. The lead character is very unlikeable - a clueless version of Cruella DeVille. She is bad with dogs, bad with her husband, bad with her clients and a whiny clueless friend.

Nothing in this movie is remotely plausible. The big stuff, the small stuff -its all wrong. The script is terrible. Dog classes last one minute, marriage counseling sessions last two minutes, a lawyer offers a character a job while sitting at a table in the park, hubby goes to Europe by himself after scheduling a Paris vacation as a surprise. On and on.

This film lacked wit, charm, characters you care about, plausibility and chemistry between its leads. Plot, sets, music, dialog were amateurish. The moment it ended , my wife asked me to erase it from the DVR. I wish I could erase it from my memory.

Someone should take up a Scriptwriting for Dummies course...

Gave up near the end. For over one hour I was waiting for something to happen; there were no plot points or plot twists, the 'funny' scenes fell flat, character arcs and relationship dynamics weren't developed. Wouldn't even classify it as amateurish, it was below that. Whole movie could be summed up as: watch a marriage therapist/expert try to desperately come up with an idiotic book idea (because deadlines) that will inevitably ruin her already failing marriage; bonus: puppy scenes!

Unlikeable Female Lead and Distracting and blinding stark white sets made this unwatchable

I've always enjoyed the films Julie Gonzalo has done for Hallmark except for this one but then I realized this originally was not on Hallmark and it goes back to 2017-2018 and was made for another channel. Hallmark only purchased the rights to air it and they were were hoping the name recognition would get people to watch it. Well they were right. I did watch it. And I thoroughly disliked it. The Jillian James character came off as elitist and arrogant. There was little chemistry between the leads. The other characters were flat. The minimalist all white sets were extremely distracting. When I first saw the commercial for this I thought ot was great that Hallmark was doing something different but buying bad films is not going to impress the majority of the audience. Hopefully this will be one of the films that will not be rerun much because I will be changing the channel whenever it comes again.

What in the world just happened...

I watch and enjoy Hallmark movies. My daughter teases me and says they're corny, but I find them quite relaxing. However I have to say, this is the worst Hallmark movie I have ever seen. The two main characters had no chemistry what so ever. The consistent use of the green scene was ridiculous, the writing and plot was awful, the editing must have been done by amateurs, and you have to wait for an hour and ten minutes for the husband to become a real part of the movie and the acting was atrocious. I truly understand why this movie sat on the shelf for two year's. There was no purpose yo this movie. "Don't waste your time, it was HORRIBLE"!!
