A great video for a great song

Of all the music videos directed by Anton Corbijn, this is definitely my favorite one. I have to say that personally I found a lot of his stuff to be a little bit dated (But not without a certain charm) yet his work on "Heart Shaped Box" had a visually stunning timeless feel which makes it easily comparable to other great music videos such as Mark Romanek's "Closer" and "Bedtime Story" or the "Losing My Religion" video from Tarsem Singh.

In my humble opinion, this video outshines everything else he had done in his entire career.

Originally, it was assumed that the video would be filmed by Kevin Kerslake, who worked on the videos for "Come as You Are", "Lithium", "In Bloom" and "Sliver". However, the band preferred to work with Anton Corbijn.
