Fudanshi kôkô seikatsu

Ryo Sakaguchi, nicknamed Gucci, is a fudanshi, a heterosexual high school boy obsessed with boys' love (BL), the genre of stories revolving around the romance between two men. Even his closest friends have a hard time understanding his hobby. Ryo discovers that his classmate, Rumi Nishihara, is a fujoshi and is happy to share her time buying precious manga from the "girls" section of the store, debating the ukes/semes, participating in shipping wars, and in doujinshi circles. His other friend, Toshiaki Nakamura, doesn't understand the BL appeal and wonders why Sakaguchi and Nishihara's friendship hasn't bloomed into something more. There is sexual tension and loads of innuendo, but nothing graphic in these 12 mini-episodes. It's a quick watch with many BL terms explained, albeit with bias. -AnimeGuide4Moms.

I loved this show. The animation was really nice. The idea of the show was good. There wasn't too much drama. This was more of a slice of life chill kind of story. I like that it was set in high school and talked about a guy liking to read about guys kissing and romance. The script was good. It wasn't boring at all. It was a quick and fun watch for sure. There wasn't too much that rememberable about what the characters said. But it was still a really good watch. It was a differnce story compare to a lot of the anime you see. I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't mind talk about two guys being in love and things like that.
