This short film is available on the free version of Gagaoolala, and I'd recommend seeking this film out because of the simplicity of it; it's efficient, it's devastating, and it's not something I can talk much about without spoiling things; that and it's only 5 minutes. Filmed in Japan, this short film reminds me a tiny bit of the silent era in the way that there's a beaten-up film effect over it, the sound seems to mostly or fully be the score, and that not a word is needed to convey everything. The widescreen image is utilised well, with occasional use of the edges when necessary, and the result is something that entirely relies on visual storytelling to great effect. Please, see it if you can.
