My 4 year old loved it.
Lots of fighting
Not a lot of back story
Starscream is a modern day cockroach
Yikes.
Okay, first off, screenshots of this show don't look terrible. The CGI models and cell shading are actually competently done... which is the best thing I can say for this series. The actual animation is okay, but the lip-synch is horrid and the character's faces are constantly blank.
The story and characters are all over the place. Windblade chucks her comic counterpart's ideas of compassion in exchange for vengeance. Starscream actually seems like he wants whats best for Cybertron, only to do a complete 180 out of nowhere (granted this is in-character for Starscream, but it was implied this version of him would be like all the other incarnations from the past decades). The only tolerable character is Megatron, and even then it's because he goes through the whole show without giving a crap.
And that's not even mentioning all the other plot holes. What was that obviously organic planet Megatron was fighting the Constructicons on, and how did Optimus and Windblade get there? Where did Victorion come from? Why is there no mention of the fact that the combiners are made of 5-6 smaller robots? Does Windblade want to kill just the combiners, or the whole Cybertronian council- she says contradicting things throughout the show.
Overall it's just terrible. If you have some time (and brain cells) to kill and like riffing on bad media then maybe give it a watch. Otherwise, avoid it at all costs.

The music and setting in the storyline brings back my attention to it. Nice to see a big-rig and seeing the original forms from the G1 show.
Interesting to see some Transformers using some special abilities, which is much better than the live-action Transformers which aren't doing so well.
Nice to see Megatron in his gun form with a cybertronian format. I would hate to see him in as a tank, while loving to put in my review. Seeing the combiners in action again makes some good episodes to watch.
The actors who voice Optimus and Megatron keep the voices true to the original characters. Good work.

This was well told. It should be combined into 1, 45 min episode instead of short episodes
The best incarnation of G1 since the original. Must see TV.
Incredible, start to finish. Does not receive the credit it deserves. Towers over the recent Netflix series.
