To Tell the Truth

I think this is a fun show. I like guessing who's telling the truth, I think Anthony Anderson does a good job, and most of the time they have good celebrities on the panel. Yet, I often don't watch the show after I see the new episode is up on Hulu, unless I am in a really good mood. I wait until I know it won't put me in a furious rage. This is because I have high blood pressure and can't handle how much I hate Doris.

The fact that she is on every episode is an absolute joke. The only thing I can think of is that Anthony Anderson has an ultimatum against the network and says if they don't let his mother be on it, he quits. She adds absolutely nothing and serves no purpose. She's not funny. She's loud and obnoxious. All of her "jokes" are calling people dumbasses or talking about her breasts. She's rude to the celebrities and interrupts them to tell them to stop talking if they elaborate on their answer for longer than five seconds (usually to white women). Who does she think she is? She's literally a nobody and she's regularly mouthing off to the talent while they're playing the game? And at the end when everyone is talking to each other and being friendly, she's always just standing front and center waving to the camera, demanding attention. Does this broad actually think she's the talent and people watch for her? There's a reason why nearly every review on here is talking about how awful she is. There is no doubt that she hurts ratings and the network needs to do something about it.

I like this show, but if you watch this show, his mother is always rude to any white women on the panel. She always cuts them off and tells them to quit talking. It's very uncomfortable to watch.

I enjoy the show for trying to guess who's the person we're trying to guess. The problem with the show is that they try to add comedy and entertainment above that especially with his mother. This is a game show and the purpose is to id someone, so I'd rather the game actually ask relevant questions than trying to come up with a question that will be a joke.

Anderson who I really like generally does a good job and actually asks questions to try and ferret out the person. His mother rarely asks relevant questions so she's a fixture vs a helpful person.

Last week she wasn't on, they had a robot which I thoroughly enjoyed hoping that maybe the shows producer got a hint on how rude crude and socially unacceptable she is, but I see her back so I might just discontinue watching. She cuts people off at the knees like she's superior and they're insignificant and I'm sure it's to be funny but she seems too old to be so tacky towards people. If inferiorating people is what they're trying to achieve with this program then keep her on. I'm also watching the old to tell the truths and this show could compare if they get rid of her opinionated self. To me, who cares, who is she anyway?

I would rate the show a 10 if it weren't for Mama Doris and the whole Mama Doris bust and crown. They could have an extra guest if it wasn't for all her interruptions, plus shes rude and crude. They need to send her on vacation or give some reason to exit her from the program. I'm 82 and for all the tears it was on , I watched the original show, Sometimes revisions aren't always a good thing.
