In God I Trust

Suspenseful, emotionally moving plot with brilliant direction and cast this independent film is an amazing provoking movie, rich in plot and direction. It gave me chills on how my day to day effects those around me, we need to be more aware of who we pass and move by, a simple exchange could change the outcome and effect of someone else's life - laws of degrees of separation are so close. No wonder we have been told to keep an eye on this cast - from the up and coming Marc Senior to best emerging performer Steven Roberts let alone NBC Melissa Roxburgh among others that contributed to this evolving thought provoking conversation worthy film. Including the music of Bilal and even Ziggy Marley. I look forward to more from this group of talented writers, directors and actors. Thank you for letting yourselves experience the layers of emotion - how this must have affected your outlook on your own lives portraying such complexity! left me shocked and breathless in an awesome way.

I am a mixed race kid from Canada and I was raised in a small community. Growing up for me was challenging at times, so this film really speaks to me and makes me feel stronger about who I am and where I came from.

I highly recommend this movie.

This movie had so much potential to deliver a great message ...then about halfway through it was like they couldn't figure out how to tie it all together so like a big box of puzzle pieces...just threw it up in the air and let all the pieces land wherever !

I just want to rewind time and NOT watch it .

There was absolutely no " plot " at all .

At first I thought the guy who was standing by his broken down car was most likely an angel or something cool like that .

But , nope and the other " hillbilly " type guys that just kept randomly showing up where they were but yet ....Why ?

Nothing made sense .

My 9 year old could write something more interestin

I only gave it a 3 because the one young black man sang a very beautiful song in it.

I came to IMDB to see if someone had an explanation for this movie, but no such luck. Apparently, everybody thought it was great. I was wondering throughout if this was a faith-based flick as there were various references throughout extolling the virtues of religion, ie Christianity. I'm now wondering if the positive reviews are primarily due to the religious aspect. The movie itself is a poor man's version of Crash which tries to weave various story threads together. However, these threads are so loosely woven as to be mainly individual threads and nonsensical. The ending was beyond laughable with no rhyme or reason other than exploring the limits of arbitrariness. The writer and director apparently missed the class where resolution of a story is explained. This movie resolves nothing after the buildup which was a tour de force of manipulation and a hodge-podge of events taken from current headlines.

I didnt know what to expect from this movie but wow was I surprised. Beautifully filmed and accompanied by an equally beautiful soundtrack. Finally a film that feels like real life and in a world that we all actually live in. The characters were bang on and I felt like anyone of us could have come across these characters portrayed at some point in our lives. I really got into this film and it filled me with all kinds of different emotions depending on each character. Always a sure sign of a great film!
