Originally produced for the very first Amazon Studios Film Contest, Silverback went on to garner multiple Best Actor Award nominations for Leroy Nguyen, Mo Asfour, and Aradom Seyoum.
The original version of this film was finished in 2012 with a run-time of approximately one hour and twenty eight minutes. This version was released very briefly online before being shelved by director Leroy Nguyen.
