Ok, so he wasn’t necessarily a serial killer, but “Nip/Tuck’s” The Carver gave me a serious case of the scareds. After his first appearance near the end of Season 2, the porcelain-masked serial-slashing maniac who was all about slicing up hot people (because “beauty is a curse,” of course!) ran amok in Season 3 and the amount of series-regular characters he went after was kind of unprecedented. The Brave has an uphill battle to find an audience and that may result in this turning into a show that a lot of people wish they had watched once it gets a few episodes in and struggles in the ratings. It’s fantastically niche for a start, because no matter how much it tries to wedge itself into the mold of popular cop shows, special forces hits and extraction missions just aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.

If that weren’t enough, there is an air of the formulaic about the series which might not go over too well simply because the jump from the war room to the streets and back again reminds too much of too many shows.

Then we have to add in the idea that there are those out there who may be wishing that we would just stop trying to make Anne Heche happen.

Ariel Winter and boyfriend Levi Meaden celebrated their 9-month anniversary on Friday, August 11, with sweet Instagram posts.

“Happy 9 month anniversary to this beautiful woman,” Meaden, 29, captioned a black-and-white photo of Winter at a frozen yogurt shop. “Every day is an adventure and I couldn’t be happier.”

Shortly afterward Winter, 19, posted a photo that showed her and Meaden reaching up to pet a giraffe named Stanley. “9 months starting off on a night shoot with Stanley,” the star wrote.

Winter, 19, took to social media to debut the couple’s new ink, revealing that they each Got have a half of a heart! The star Snapchatted a sweet picture of her hand next to Meaden’s to make the heart halves whole again. “M n Bae,” she wrote.

Just one day after we reported that Pacific Rim 2 has added Tian Jing to the cast, and that filming begins in November, another cast member has come aboard. Levi Meaden, who stars in the new Syfy series Aftermath, has joined the growing cast for this sci-fi sequel. Levi Meaden will be playing a character named Ilya, who is described as "an irreverent and offbeat cadet."

Variety has word on the Pacific Rim 2 casting, with Levi Meaden joining a cast that includes John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny and Tian Jing. John Boyega is playing the son of Idris Elba's Stacker Pentecost, who sacrificed himself at the end of the first Pacific Rim movie, but no details have been given about the other characters. Variety reports that actor Levi Meaden has joined the cast of Legendary Pictures' Pacific Rim 2. Meaden joins a cast that includes John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny and Jing Tian. Meaden's credits includes Syfy's Aftermath and The CW's The 100.

Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight will make his directorial debut with the Pacific Rim sequel with Guillermo del Toro producing the film alongside Jon Jashni, Femi Oguns, Mary Parent, and Legendary Pictures' CEO Thomas Tull.

The first Pacific Rim was released in 2013, which was directed by del Toro, and starred Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, and Robert Kazinsky. It was set in a post-apocalyptic future where the human race was near extinction using giant robots to fight monsters called Kaiju that emerged from an another dimension located at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

The film begins production this November in Australia and will also film a portion in China.

Syfy has finally found a winning combination for Friday nights.

Today the network announced it will be renewing both Dark Matter and Killjoys for an additional season.

This news come just as the programs are ending the runs of their current seasons.

The Killjoys Season 2 finale will air tomorrow night, and in the words of our reviewer, Hank Otero, "Mind Blown!!!"

It certainly doesn't sound like you're going to want to miss Killjoys Season 2 Episode 10, "How to Kill Friends and Influence People."

Dark Matter will air a double episode on Friday, September 9, and its finale on Friday, September 16.

Dark Matter follows the story of a crew full of amnesiacs who found themselves on a derelict ship in the middle of nowhere.

With no idea how they got there or who they were, they have worked together calling each other numbered names to survive a voyage filled with betrayal and secrets.
