Dolphin Kick

Although the acting was not A list it still was a good family movie to watch with your kids. Nothing objectable. I'd watch it again.

The concept of this movie is okay, BUT! the writing was not good and everything that happened had no explanation or just didnt make any sense. the acting was okay, but not the best, and the special effects werent that good. if you like the movie, your opinion stays with you, but mine also stays

Wow, that is 90 minutes I'll never get back. Always looking for good family movies to watch with the kids. But this was a fail for me. I'm usually fine with cheesy and low budget, but this was just too much. TERRIBLE acting, unimaginative writing with underdeveloped plots and characters, so many inconsistencies cutting between views in scenes - especially time lapses where they're in the water switching back and forth between obviously different locations, like beach, to outdoor tropical dolphin pen, back to beach? Very disappointed.

They must have discovered that their boom didn't record because every line sounded like it was recorded in a studio and voiced over. Drove me nuts. And then pretty much no added sound effects for splashes or anything. I feel like if the sound was better this movie could be bearable and the cheesiness would be easier to overlook. The music was actually pretty good though.

The editors also over-enjoyed the passage of time scenes where they get to play a fun song and show clips of the island, clips that didn't always make sense what was going on.

The actors were ok. For a low budget film they were as good as any.

Great family movie and if you are from the islands and living aborad, this movie makes you feel a bit of home life. I watched it twice in one day.
