With some improvements could have been a strong court film

The plot is interesting: there are the press exploitation, the judicial culture of punishment, the search for personal heroes, influence peddling... and a death. However, the film is not better because thwre is not much inspiration in acting, script or art direction.

a prosecutor as redeeming hero of a small community. his weakness moment as result of a painful episode from the past. and the right choice for remains loyal to yourself. short, a French crime film who reminds many other films from the same genre, using psychological sketches, ordinary solutions for define the characters - clichés and stereotypes -, giving, as nice gift, the meet with Hyppolite Girardot and a decent work of Bruno Solo. short, a correct film, part of a long tradition, cold and not always convincing, but correct , like a homework, mix of duty, public pressure and moral problems, portrait of a man looking for preserve his impeccable public image and serving the truth with high honesty.
