Winterlong

I don't normally write reviews but this film really stuck with me. I almost turned it off 10 minutes in but so glad I decided to stay with it. The acting was superb! I loved the slow pace of this movie. Great story and nothing candy coated. It was intense but not pushy. The characters seem authentic(the opera singing neighbor was great!) and not overdone. Such a refreshing change from most movies these days. But I must comment on the MUSIC!!!! Wow! The female voice in the band blew me away. I spent over an hour today poking around online trying to figure out who she was but found very little on her online. Her voice is outstanding and I wish this movie had a soundtrack!!! The lyrics were great too. If anyone reads this and knows how I can get it-please post it in a review. Anyway I know this film isn't for everyone but I really loved it. Especially the ending-thank you to the writers for that. Didn't leave anything hanging.
